Library Policies
These policies are intended to keep the library a comfortable, safe environment for everyone. Please respect the rights of others who are studying and working in the library. If you observe anyone violating these policies, please inform the library staff. Students who persist in breaking these rules may be referred to their academic dean for appropriate disciplinary action.
Library Use Policies:
- ADA Compliance - policies for equal access for disabled library patrons
- Courteous Behavior - policies for cell phone use, food and drink, etc.
Library Materials
- Circulation Policies - loan periods & renewal options for various users
- Non-Circulating Items - learn which items can only be used in the library
- Returning Items & Overdue Fines
Library Spaces
- Group Study Rooms - study space for students
- Library Boardroom - for library staff meetings or faculty use
- Media Room - for viewing and listening to media of all types
- Meditation Room - for private meditation or prayer
- New Mothers Room - includes refrigerator and sink for new mothers
Library Technology
- Copiers in the Library - use student credits or our copy card system
- Printers in the Library - available to Chicago-Kent users only
- Library Computer Labs - login information for Chicago-Kent and other users
- Internet Access in the Library - wireless and network setup
