Members of the public have access to the library’s collection primarily for purposes of utilizing the documents of the U.S. government, the United Nations, and the European Union, for all of which the library is a designated document depository. The public may also use the remainder of the library’s collection for research purposes.
Public use of the computers is limited to accessing the Internet to access federal government documents or to conduct research. Printing is not available to the public. Members of the public should plan to print elsewhere and download their research to a floppy disk or email the results using a web mail account like Hotmail or Yahoo.
Note, however, that while the library is open to the public for legal research, the Downtown Campus Library is not a public library. We reserve the right to ask members of the public who are not using the library for its intended purposes to leave.
