STATISTICS Statistics and other quantitative methods are commonly used in legal cases, especially where the issues involve questions of social or public policy. Statistics can be used in discrimination cases where there is a need to establish a pattern. Consumer Price Indexes can be used to determine back pay in an employment case. |
